FAMILY RESTRUCTURING
What is Family Restructuring?
Family restructuring is generally a short-term family/parent based counseling that focuses on transitioning a family from having parents that are married to one another, to being divorced.

Goals of Family Restructuring
A Peaceful Transition for the parents in the family to move from spouses to co-parents. Emphasis is placed on establishment of new, healthy, and appropriate boundaries post separation/divorce, positive Co-Parenting skills, and general relational skills.
What does Family restructuring look like?
Sessions are generally held partially individually and partially conjointly to facilitate optimal communication and facilitation towards desired goals. This work is typically short-term and based on your collaboration with your therapist, may be between 3-15 sessions. Ending a marriage is one of the most challenging transitions a family can face. Our goal is to help make this transition less painful and to better equip parents/ex-partners with the skills to focus on harmony as they restructure their family and focus on their shared vision of raising, loving, and caring for their children.
